Three Days Grace is a grunge band that originally formed as Groundswell in Toronto, Canada in 1992. The band consist of Adam Gontier on vocals, Neil Sanderson on drums, Brad Walst on bass guitar and Barry Stock on lead guitar. In 1997, members Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, and Brad Walst united again to continue their musical work together. Originally a cover band, the trio renamed the band Three Days Grace. In 2003, they released their self titled debut album. The lead single I Hate (Everything About You) went to number one in Canada and to the top ten of the US and world modern rock charts in 2003. The second single Just Like You also went to the top of the Canadian singles charts. Three Days Grace then released their sophomore album on June 13, 2006. It was titled One-X and has since sold over a million copies in the United States and earning a platinum certification. It spawned four singles; "Pain" ,"Animal I Have Become", "Never Too Late" and "Riot". According to the RIAA, Three Days Grace has sold over six million copies to date. They are currently working on their latest album due to be released in 2009.
