B2K was founded and managed by music producer Chris Stokes in 2001 with Lil’ Fizz, Raz-B, J-Boog, and Omarion as members. In December 2001, B2K released their first single "Uh Huh". The song peaked at number thirty-seven Billboard Hot 100 and at number twenty on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Their self-titled debut album, B2K was released on March 12, 2002. The group also released a further two singles, "Gots Ta Be", and "Why I Love You". B2K released their fourth single, "Bump, Bump, Bump" which featured Bad Boy executive, P. Diddy. It peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the group’s first top ten and number one single. It was the first single off their second studio album, Pandemonium!. The album was released on December 10, 2002 and debuted at number ten on the Billboard 200 and at number three on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. In January 2004, Chris Stokes announced that the group had broken up. Three of the members claimed financial mishandling by Stokes’ management company, T.U.G. (The Ultimate Group). Omarion and Chris Stokes claimed the allegations were untrue. Lil Fizz was featured in Omarion’s "Entourage" video.
