Christina Milian is the stage name of Christine Flores. She was born on September 26, 1981 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was born to Don and Carmen Flores. Named Christine Flores, Milian changed her name and adopted her mother’s maiden name in the hopes of landing a wider range of acting roles. Christina Milian made her first professional musical appearance on rapper Ja Rule’s second studio album Rule 3:36 released in 2000. Her collaboration with Ja Rule led to a record deal with Def Jam; she traveled to Sweden and recorded her self-titled debut album, Christina Milian. The album was released in 2001. The album’s domestic release was delayed partly due to the September 11 attacks, which occurred just two weeks before the intended release date. Eventually the album was released in the United States in 2004. Christina Milian has since released three more albums and acted in several television shows and movies. Television shows she has been on include Sister, Sister in 1996, Smart Guy in 1997 and Movie Surfers in 1998. Christina Milian’s movie roles include Torque in 2004, Pulse in 2006 and Snowglobe in 2007. In 2008 she won the Imagen Foundation Award for Best TV Actress for Snowglobe.

Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. It’s fronted by singer Jon Bon Jovi and features the following members, Richie Samboraon guitar, David Bryan on keyboards and Tico Torres on drums. Bon Jovi released their self titled debut on January 21, 1984. It spawned the hit single,"Runaway". Bon Jovi then went on to release their second studio album, 7800° Fahrenheit in April of 1985. Both, their sophomore effort and their debut albums were moderatetly successful but the band’s breakthrough album was Slippery When Wet, released on August 18, 1986. It is the band’s most commercially successful album, selling over 12 million copies in the U.S. and has sold over 25 million coppies worldwide to date[1]. It was named the top selling album of 1987 by Billboard. Today it stands as one of the six best selling hard rock albums ever, and spawned two number one singles, "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin’ on a Prayer". They followed up the success of Slippery When Wet with the release of New Jersey in 1988. The album went on to sell over 7 million copies. Bon Jovi has since released the following albums, Keep the Faith (1992), These Days (1995), Crush (2000), Bounce (2002), Have a Nice Day (2005) and Lost Highway (2007). They have sold more than 120 million albums and they performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans.

Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit is a band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1995. It’s line up includes vocalist Fred Durst, drummer John Otto, guitarist Wes Borland, bassist Sam Rivers and turntablist/sampler player DJ Lethal. In 1997, Limp Bizkit released their debut album, Three Dollar Bill, Yall$. The album has since gone double platinum in the United States. In 1999, they produced their sophomore album, Significant Other. It spawned the the singles "Nookie", "Re-Arranged", "N 2 Gether Now" and "Break Stuff". Significant Other debuted at #1 and sold over 634,000 copies in its first week; and has sold over 7.5 million worldwide to date. Limp Bizkit’s third album was titled "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" and was released on October 15, 2000 through Interscope Records. According to the RIAA website, the album has sold over 6 million copies in United States as of 2008. Limp Bizkit has since gone on to release two more albums, Results May Vary (2003) and The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) (2005). Limp Bizkit’s first greatest hits compilation, titled Greatest Hitz, was released on November 8, 2005. It contained material from the band’s first four albums (the track "The Truth" was released in some countries). An additional DVD, which featured music videos for most of their major hits, was released in conjunction with the CD.

Alizee

Alizee is the professional name of Alizee Jacotey. She was born on August 21, 1984 in Ajaccio, Corsica. In 1999, she appeared on the TV talent show "Graines de Star", broadcast on Metropole 6. She initially intended to sign up for the programme’s dance contest. However, the dance category was reserved for groups only. Alizee therefore participated in the singing category instead, performing the song Ma Pričre (a single released by Axelle Red in 1997). She went on to win the "Meilleure Graine" award for most promising young singing star of tomorrow. As a result she got signed to a major label and in March of 2001 released her debut album entitled Gourmandises. It went platinum in record three months, and to date it has sold more than 1,300,000 copies in France, and over 4 million worldwide. Alizee’s sophomore album, Mes Courants Électriques, was released on March 18, 2003. It sold more than 200,000 copies in the first three months of its release, and has since sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Alizee has since released three more albums which include Alizee En Concert in 2004, Psychedelices in 2007 and Tout Alizee, also in 2007. Alizee married fellow French singer Jeremy Chatelain in late 2003.
